Hello {{first_name|Motivated and Miffed Community}},

A few weeks back, I sent out a survey. Nothing fancy — five questions about what you actually want from this newsletter. 36 of you took the time to answer honestly. That's enough to see real patterns, and the patterns are worth sharing.

So this week, the issue is about you.

67% of respondents said staying motivated is their biggest struggle — and that's exactly the problem the Productivity Playbook was built around. If you haven't grabbed it yet, now's a good time.

TL;DR

📊 Productivity Tips + Personal Development Stories are what you're here for.
🧠💪 61% of you want to build better habits. 58% want to get more done.
😤 Staying motivated (67%) and managing time (50%) are where things break down.
📱📖 Short articles first — but almost half of you also want videos and deep dives.

The Move: When motivation drops, the routine stays.

The Evidence: Behavioral research consistently shows that habit cues tied to location and time fire independently of motivational state — the behavior runs even when the feeling doesn't show up.

Start Here: Pick one thing you want to do more consistently. Attach it to something you already do every day.

1) Productivity Tips and Personal Development Stories — neck and neck at #1 and #2.

67% of respondents want productivity tips. 61% want personal development stories. Those two content types have been M&M's bread and butter since issue one, so this is a green light to keep going. The one thing worth noting: "Other" landed at 19%, which tells me there are readers who want something I haven't named yet. If that's you — reply to this email and tell me what it is.

61% want to build better habits. 58% want to get more done. 53% want more motivation.
These aren't three separate goals. They're the same goal wearing different shoes. Habits are the mechanism. Productivity is the output. Motivation is the thing you're looking for when the system breaks down. That connection is what this newsletter is built around.

The biggest struggle: staying motivated at 67%.
Half of you also flagged time management. A third flagged work/life balance and finding resources. These aren't personality flaws — they're structural problems that get worse when you're running on fumes and a to-do list that hasn't changed in three days. Future issues will keep hitting these directly.

Short articles run the room — but videos and in-depth guides are right behind.
67% prefer short articles, which is why the newsletter stays tight. But 47% also want video, and 47% want in-depth guides. That's the signal to

Haven't taken the survey yet?

The data above came from 36 readers. Add your voice — take the survey here, or reply to this email with what you want to see more of.

One more thing — the Playbook.

16 people have downloaded the Ultimate Productivity Playbook. 2 on Gumroad, 14 on beehiiv. If the survey data above describes you — struggling with motivation, trying to manage time, wanting to build real habits — the Playbook is the system underneath all of that. The issues explain the concepts. The Playbook gives you the structure to actually run them.

👋 That’s All

36 people told me what they're struggling with and what they want more of. Now I actually have to build it. Appreciate you for taking the time. 🐿️

Stay MOTIVATED,

Gio
